Using Feng Shui to Harness the Law of Attraction to your Advantage

Updated: Sep 26

A striking statistic indicates that 33% of the Law of Attraction remarkably depends on your home environment! Now more than ever, ensuring your living spaces are in balance plays a crucial role in your personal journey towards manifesting goals, feeling worthy and fundamentally improving your life.

In the art of Feng Shui, your home is seen as a smaller microcosm of the grand universe – the macrocosm. Your living space tells stories about you, reflecting your inner feelings and emotions. Recognizing this connection helps open the door to using your home as a tool for influencing changes you desire in your life.

Through carefully practiced Feng Shui, you learn to identify imbalances in your home and your life, allowing you to bring them back into harmony. Imagine your home as a large dream board, an external manifestation of your internal ambitions. Ideally, what you possess in your home should closely inspire and reflect your passions, serving your needs and uses.

Feng Shui is an ongoing practice, much like our ever-evolving lives. We should continually revisit our living space to ensure alignment with our current ambitions. Remember, as the seasons change and we evolve, so should our homes.

The benefits of enhancing your home Feng Shui practices can be felt on many levels. From promoting healthier habits and better sleep to inspiring positivity and a general feeling of worthy self-love.

Your home is a reflection of your internal state. When life gets hectic, it can manifest in disorder in your living space, with piles of unwashed dishes or unopened mail possibly being the first signs. When you allocate time to organize your home and take care of pending tasks, you'll feel an energizing, refreshing wave wash over you, making you ready for what life throws your way.

Your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations all need to vibrate in alignment for you to truly connect with your inspirations. The environment you live in plays a vital role in maintaining this alignment. It supports your thoughts, feelings, and sensations – it is your higher vibration container.

However, living in a space that doesn’t support your positive affirmations and meditation could easily guide you back into old unfavorable patterns.

Another critical aspect of harnessing the Law of attraction is understanding that your body, guided by your mind, responds to the environmental and situational signals in different ways. Therefore, you must listen to these signals and become aware of your feelings and thoughts in order to keep yourself in balance.

In your journey towards harnessing the law of attraction, consistent practice and trust in divine timing are crucial. Learn to accept the present, wholeheartedly step into your sovereignty in life and home. Adopt a positive attitude, and remember, it's okay to say no and set healthy boundaries.

Finally, ensure you cultivate a deep sense of gratitude, trust that things are as they should be, and remember that the universe works in mysterious ways for the highest good of all.

So step into the world of Feng Shui, set on a voyage of self-discovery, and learn to use your home to your advantage in harnessing the law of attraction.

Title: The Enchanting Journey of Feng Shui: From Ancient China to Modern World

Feng Shui, a gem from the heart of the mysterious culture of China, has traversed a long journey through many centuries. It's an age-old practice that merges the visible, physical world with the unseen, vibrational cosmos. Dating back several thousand years, it has intricately woven its way into the fabric of human living and society.

Roughly around 6,000 years ago, our neolithic ancestors in China began practicing primitive Feng Shui. Its primary purpose was to identify safe dwelling places, site palaces, government buildings, and even design entire cities. The invention of the compass marked the dawn of Feng Shui, which also played a significant role in choosing suitable burial sites.

The Chou dynasty saw the emergence of the Trigram, with King Wen being its first user for documenting patterns of change. The triad of Feng Shui – the Compass, the Eight Trigrams, and the I-Ching theory were established by ancient shamans, diviners, and sage kings. This framework has been shaping the practice of Feng Shui, helping it evolve over centuries into numerous sects and variations.

By the 19th century, the Spiritualist Movement had given rise to modern sects of Feng Shui, redefining its approach and application for a new world. However, during the mid-20th century, Feng Shui faced restrictions in China, with the practice being made illegal. Despite this setback, its charm resurged, entwining itself into mainstream culture. Today, numerous companies in China embrace Feng Shui in their corporate framework.

Feng Shui represents the Universe's ebb and flow through the Early Heaven Sequence and the Later Heaven Sequence. The former encapsulates the ideal, perfect Universe where Yin and Yang are in perfect balance. The latter delves into the world post-creation of Heaven and Earth, exploring the subsequent changes that occurred.

Adding a touch of the mythical, the Legend of Feng Shui talks about the enchanting Lo Shu Magic Square and its connection to nature's forces and harmonious living. The Feng Shui Goddesses, such as the Queen Mother of the West, bring a divine dimension into the practice, embodying prosperity, longevity, and eternal bliss.

Over numerous centuries, Feng Shui has journeyed from being an age-old Chinese practice to becoming a globally recognized system, powering the dynamics of the modern world. Its intricate blend of science, philosophy, and spirituality offers an exceptional tool for harmonious living, demonstrating why it's been cherished for thousands of years.

and another. The Art of Balance Discovering the Different Schools of Feng ShuiFeng Shui, the ancient Chinese practice of arranging your environment to enhance your life, is more popular than ever. But with so many schools and styles, it can feel like stepping into a maze of confusing advice and contrasting principles. Whether you're new to this art or looking to deepen your understanding, knowing the different schools of Feng Shui can help you choose an approach that aligns with your lifestyle and goals.

In this guide, we'll explore the major schools of Feng Shui, their unique methodologies, and how they can influence various aspects of your life. From traditional methods rooted in history to modern adaptations for contemporary living, you’ll find insights to help you create harmony in your space.

Understanding Feng Shui BasicsBefore we dive into the schools, it's important to understand the basics. At its core, Feng Shui is about the flow of energy, or "Chi," in a space. It’s believed that the arrangement of elements within your environment can affect your health, wealth, and happiness. Basic principles include the use of colors, shapes, natural elements, and directions to optimize the flow of Chi.

The Bagua map, a tool used in many Feng Shui schools, helps identify areas of your home associated with different aspects of life, such as career, relationships, and health. Each area corresponds to an element like water, earth, or metal, and aligning these elements can create balance and promote positive energy.

Form School Feng ShuiForm School Feng Shui, also known as Landscape Feng Shui, is the oldest and most foundational school. It evaluates the physical features of a landscape, such as mountains, water bodies, and buildings, to determine their impact on a property. The emphasis here is on the shapes and forms that surround a building, believing that these influence the flow of Chi.

This school focuses on creating environments where structures are supported and not obstructed by natural elements. For instance, a property backed by a mountain is considered ideal for stability, while flowing water in front signifies wealth and prosperity.

Classical Feng ShuiClassical Feng Shui encompasses several traditional approaches, including Form School, Compass School, and Flying Stars Feng Shui. It integrates astrology, astronomy, and mathematics to analyze a space's energy patterns.

The time of construction and the occupants' birth dates are key factors in this analysis. A Classical Feng Shui expert will create a "Chi map" of a home, using it to balance energy flows and enhance or mitigate specific influences. This approach is precise and deeply rooted in historical practice, offering a detailed view of how your environment can support your life.

Flying Stars Feng ShuiFlying Stars Feng Shui is a dynamic technique within Classical Feng Shui. It uses a building's orientation and construction date to create a "building horoscope," a chart that reveals the movement of energies over time. These energies, represented by stars, can influence different areas of life, from health to wealth.

Practitioners use this chart to predict and adjust the energy flows, making it possible to enhance positive influences and counteract negative ones. This method is highly intricate and considered one of the most powerful tools for those seeking to optimize their environments continuously.

Black Hat Sect Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui (BTB)Developed in the 1980s by Grandmaster Thomas Lin Yun, BTB Feng Shui blends Tibetan Buddhism, Taoism, and psychology. Known for its simplicity and accessibility, it's sometimes called "fast food Feng Shui."

BTB Feng Shui uses the Bagua map but aligns it with the main entrance rather than compass directions. This modern approach makes it easier for Westerners to apply Feng Shui principles without mastering complex calculations or symbols.

Intuitive/Modern Feng ShuiIntuitive, or Modern Feng Shui, adapts traditional principles to fit Western lifestyles. It focuses on creating balanced spaces using easily understood concepts and symbols relevant to modern culture. This includes schools like the Western School of Feng Shui and the Pyramid School.

In this approach, the compass is used to divide a space into eight sections, each linked to a life aspiration and element. Practitioners then employ decor and design choices that appeal to the homeowner's tastes, making Feng Shui accessible and practical for everyday life.

Modern Feng Shui for HealthModern Feng Shui places a significant emphasis on health and well-being, recognizing the importance of a balanced environment in maintaining a healthy body and mind. By aligning your living space to promote restful sleep, reduce stress, and encourage relaxation, Modern Feng Shui aims to support overall wellness.

Practices include optimizing bedroom layouts for better sleep, introducing houseplants for air purification, and using calming colors to reduce anxiety. This approach is particularly appealing for those looking to incorporate holistic health practices into their daily routine.

Feng Shui for Wealth and ProsperityAttracting wealth and prosperity is one of the most sought-after benefits of Feng Shui. Various schools offer techniques to enhance financial success, such as placing water features like fountains in strategic locations or using specific colors and symbols to draw abundance.

These methods aim to create a flow of energy that supports financial growth, encouraging opportunities and stabilizing income. By understanding and applying these principles, you can create an environment that fosters prosperity in your personal and professional life.

Feng Shui for Love and RelationshipsCreating harmony in relationships is another key aspect of Feng Shui. By arranging your living space to encourage love and connection, you can foster stronger bonds with family, friends, and partners. Techniques might include arranging furniture to promote conversation, using pairs of objects to symbolize partnership, and ensuring the relationship corner of your home is inviting and clutter-free.

These practices help create an environment conducive to nurturing meaningful connections, supporting both romance and friendship.

Feng Shui for Career SuccessFeng Shui principles can also be applied to enhance career success. By optimizing your workspace, you can improve focus, creativity, and productivity. This might involve positioning your desk to face a door for opportunities, using color to stimulate mental activity, or incorporating symbols of success and ambition.

Creating a balanced work environment can help align your professional aspirations with the energy flow of your space, leading to greater achievements and satisfaction in your career.

Choosing the Right Feng Shui SchoolWith so many schools and approaches, choosing the right Feng Shui style for your needs can be overwhelming. Consider your goals and lifestyle, and explore which methods resonate with you. Whether you prefer the detailed analysis of Classical Feng Shui or the accessible insights of BTB and Modern Feng Shui, there’s a path that can guide you to a more harmonious life.

Consulting with a professional Feng Shui practitioner can provide personalized guidance and help you implement these principles effectively in your home.

ConclusionThe art of Feng Shui offers a diverse range of schools and practices, each with unique methods for enhancing your life. From ancient traditions to modern adaptations, understanding these different approaches allows you to choose the one that best fits your needs and aspiration

Understanding Chi: The Vital Energy of the UniverseChi, also spelled as Qi, is the vital energy that forms the essence of everything. It's the dynamic force that activates the universe, making it the underlying and unifying "substance" and "soul" of all things. In this article, we explore what Chi is, how it works, its different types, and its implications.

What is Chi?Chi is the vital energy present in every material in the universe. It cycles through condensed and dispersed states of positive (Sheng Chi) and negative (Sha Chi) energy. It is neither created nor destroyed but is transformed and reappears into new states of existence.Chi is considered the breath of life in Eastern cultures, believed to govern health, wealth, and happiness. The Different Types of ChiIn the concept of Feng Shui, there are three types of Chi:

Heaven Chi: The first force of nature, it spirals down from celestial heavens – the sun, moon, planets, stars, and even the weather.Human Chi: This is your unique life force, determined by the energy you were born into.Earth Chi: The energy carried by physical geographic features like mountains, waterways, deserts, and plains, which can affect our physical health, temperaments, and compatibility with others. The Movement of ChiChi moves in perpetual cycles of change. It accumulates, dispenses, expands, and condenses, moving fast, slow, in, out, up, and down.Chi can follow straight, angular, and curved pathways. It rides the wind (feng) and is retained in water (shui). We are all subject to Chi's influence as it is around us and within us.The Power of Sheng and Sha ChiSheng Chi is the positive Chi that carries auspicious currents nourishing your well-being. It can be experienced through sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste.Sha Chi is the negative Chi that can impact your health and livelihood negatively. It too can be experienced through our five senses. The Concept of Yin and YangYin and Yang represent the principle of dependent opposites that must always be in balance. It's an evolving and cycling pattern of balance, transformation, interaction, and dependent opposition. The idea is not to view things as "black or white," "right or wrong," but rather to maintain a balance and interaction between both poles.Chi, as it is understood, is a complex yet fascinating concept that continues to be central to many Eastern philosophies and practices. Whether in its movement, its interaction with the natural world, or its influence on our personal well-being, the energy of Chi is ever-present and significant.

Understanding the Five Feng Shui ElementsWelcome to a world where everything in your surrounding environment influences your well-being. This is the world of Feng Shui. Within this realm, there are five elements - Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal - that hold immense significance. Each carries a unique message, and has distinct characteristics, colors, shapes, material, properties, associated human body parts, and directions. Let's uncover the mystery of these elements:

1. Water Element

Water stands for abundance, prosperity and emotional fluidity. It is represented in the colors black, indigo, or dark blue. With wavy and curvy patterns, and water being used in metal fountains, aquariums, and pools, it brings a liberal and cleansing presence. It is associated with kidneys, urinary bladder, bones and others body parts, thriving in the northern direction.

2. Wood Element

The wood element pulses with new life, growth, expansion and creativity. It’s color is green, and its shape is often seen in rectangular patterns or columns. Trees, plants, and fresh flowers serve as its materials. The wood element energizes liver, gall bladder and other connected human body parts. Its direction is East & Southeast.

3. Fire Element

Fire fuels action, passion, fame and power. Reddish, purples, and bright pink are its colors, while triangles and tall pointed shapes represent its form. The fire element resonates with your eyes, heart, small intestines and more. The south is where fire element thrives.

4. Earth Element

Earth lends stability and grounding, mirrored in its colors of terra-cotta, yellow, browns, and beiges. It is often found in square shapes and large scale furnishings, and is related to the stomach, spleen, pancreas, and other body parts. Find it in the Southwest, Northeast and Center directions.

5. Metal Element

Metal clears the path to focus and clarity, and is seen in white, gold, silver, and copper. Oval, arches, round shapes represent it while wrought iron, steel, copper are its preferred materials. Metal is associated with the mouth, tongue, chest, skin and other body parts. Look for it in the West and Northwest directions.

These elements interact in three cycles: Productive, Weakening, and Destructive. They flow through the body's organs, affecting health when in balance. It's crucial to understand these cycles for balancing energy flow.

In a world increasingly seeking well-being, Feng Shui offers a framework for harmonizing our lives' physical and emotional sides. So, let's embrace these five elements and bring in the positive energy!

Mastering Feng Shui: Calculate Your Personal Trigram the Easy Way!In the world of Feng Shui, your personal trigram, or Ming Gua, is an integral part of understanding how you interact with the energy of your surroundings. Your trigram is a unique number derived from your birth year, which allows you to determine the elements, colors, and directions that can boost positive energy in your life. Let's dive into how to calculate your personal trigram!

Step One: Understand the CalendarBefore we start the calculations, realize that you might need to tweak your birth year if you were born between January 1st and February 4th or 5th. For these dates, we use the previous year's number due to the Chinese calendar's influence on Feng Shui.

Step Two: Calculate Your Trigram NumberAdd all digits of your birth year continuously until you end up with a single digit number. For instance, if your birth year is 1978, you would add 1 + 9 + 7 + 8, which totals 25. But, we need a single digit, so continue the process: 2 + 5 = 7.

The process differs slightly between males and females from here.

Male Trigram CalculationFor males, subtract the single digit obtained from step two from 11. This number is your personal trigram number. However, if the result is 5, consider it as 2 since there isn't a 5 trigram.

For example, if you're a male born in 1978, and your single digit number is 7, subtract this from 11. So, 11 - 7 = 4. Your trigram number is 4.

Female Trigram CalculationFor females, you add 4 to the single digit obtained from step two. This number becomes your personal trigram number. However, if the result is 5, take it as 8 since a 5 trigram doesn't exist.

For example, if you're a female born in 1978, and your single digit number is 7, add 4 to this. So, 7 + 4 = 11. Then, reduce to a single digit: 1+1=2. Your trigram number is 2.

What Now?Once you know your personal trigram number, you can use it to explore the best support directions, elements, and colors for you, enhancing your life's prosperity, health, and harmony.

Just remember not to confuse your personal trigram number with the meanings of the numbers in the 8-Trigram Grid. They're different elements of Feng Shui, each with its unique implications and use.
